Some of you may already be aware we have been moving over the past few weeks - but we are back up and operating at our state of the art facility at 3/53 Blaxland Road, Campbelltown. Our brand new state of the art spray booth, dedicated design lab, showroom and offices has put us once again on the forefront of vehicle modification in Australia and true to our game we are still doing things that other say are impossible.
It’s that time again with the 8 weeks leading up to MotorEX 2010 and is turning out to be a busy month, but we are always around to have a chat about any plans or work you want done on your custom ride no matter how big or small, any style, anything you can imagine or drop us a line on our hotline 1300 XCUSTOMS.

| MotorEx 2010
2010 is a special year for MotorEX - they're celebrating 20 years of Meguiars in Australia and the 10th Meguiars MotorEX. It’s also 10 years since Meguiars Superstars was conceived... so it’s time to celebrate! MotorEX has always been a huge, indoor display of the best custom, modified and restored vehicles in Australia, but this year will be like no other.
The show covers everything from Hot Rods, Street Machines, HiTech Tuners and Custom Motorcycles to the finest examples of Australian & American muscle, high performance speed machines and timeless classics, there is something for everyone with every taste.
The show will be held over the weekend of 24/25th July, 2010 within the main exhibition halls of Sydney Olympic Park, a premier location 30 minutes west of Sydney’s CBD and is a must see for all car enthusiasts.

For the past 8 years AJ has been at the forefront of the American automotive industry as a creative director for American aftermarket customization powerhouse West Coast Customs®. His company Engine4™ has been the driving force behind several brands in the automotive industry, with this eye for detail and extraordinary design ability it is easy to see why he is a six time American Design Award™ winner and why he continues to break ground with his designs. Now living in Sydney, AJ is also full time member of our staff and the head of our creative department. |

| Audio Review - OLM2412
After getting the woofer mounted properly in the enclosure, I connected it to one of the largest amplifiers in our inventory, which was more than capable of delivering all of the 2400 watts the woofer was rated for. After setting the amps low pass crossover for 80hz at -12dB/oct, I settled in to listen to some of my favorite woofer tracks. We started with an old favourite of mine 50 cents 'In da Club” off the woofer at our shop, we had our neighbors coming over because things where vibrating so much in their workshop, I could sit here and tell you about the side venting, which really helps with the 3 inch copper voice coils cooling and about the double stacked 4.5 kilo magnets along with the fiberglass reinforced cone are just a recipe for massive bass but really to hear one of these all those facts just go out the window.
Summary:
This “bad ass” woofer is a just as tough as it look, you like it loud and proud, this is your woofer. It’s got all the chrome, all the bling of the “pretty” woofers, but when it comes
time to drop the knob, you’ll have a woofer that will more than destroy every other woofer in its class. The HiFonics Olympus 2412 will handle ungodly amounts of power and abuse and deliver the authority you need for the street.
Conclusion:
You need at least 1000 watts to really enjoy this woofer, and honestly the more you can give it the more it will take. No matter how much abuse we gave this woofer it still kept coming back for more, this is with out a doubt one of the hardest hitting woofers that we have ever tested. If you like your bass at insane levels and you can afford the $999 price tag then this is the woofer for you.

Alex Dee’s monster ISX400 is going to rewrite the book on modified Lexus’s. This matt black V8 powered weapon will be a jaw dropper where ever it goes and once again it’s the total package, show and go we are fairly tight lipped about this one off custom ride for now but keep your eyes and ears out for more info on this ride leading up to MotorEx 2010. |
